What is the aim of this role?

We are looking to recruit a new cohort of HYBR team members! We think students are the best at creating a buzz, and who better to work for a student facing company than students themselves. As a HYBR student ambassador you will:

Represent our brand! We want you to be the face of our organization and carry our core values wherever you go.

Spread our message! We want you to make connections across your university, network with your peers, create partnerships and collaborations with societies.

Seek new opportunities! Think HYBR should be attending that event? Can you spot an untapped audience who would benefit from HYBR’s work? We want you to use your initiative to spread our work further.

Who do we want as a HYBR ambassador?

All students! Whether you're an undergraduate or postgraduate, home or international, were seeking students from across the student body. What matters most is your attitude and ability, are you…?

Confident- Are you comfortable approaching other students and engaging them in conversation?

Social savvy- Are you a whizz kid on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook? Know how to expand an audience and generate interest through creative content online?

Leadership - Do you love being the driving force and making things happen? Would you enjoy hosting events, talks and workshops?

Connected- are you involved with societies and/or sports teams? Do you have the ability to introduce HYBR to lots of students? Do you care about the student experience and want to make it better?

Your work will be flexible and varied, each day will be different to the next. You may be presenting a ‘first time renting’ talk to first years, collaborating with a sports team to host an event or working with the HYBR office team to show students around our properties. You have the ability to shape and form this role, allowing for personal and professional growth.

Why should I become a part of the HYBR community?

This role will professionally push you, but simultaneously you have the freedom to make it as joyful and fun for both yourself and the students you engage with!

This job offers you the opportunity to grow your marketing, event management and recruitment skills. You will be given responsibility from day one, with the support and structure to make your creative ideas happen.

You're be working with a booming start-up, still in its early days of growth. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to learn the ins and outs of starting a business, because we are still learning and evolving, you will have the opportunity to learn and evolve with us. We listen to all members of the HYBR community and value our team members equally.

Through this you will be able to enhance your CV with your newly acquired experience and skills, as well as include HYBR as a reference for future employees.

As an organisation run by recent graduates we understand the needs of students, we value your time and don’t take it for granted. This is why we pay our student ambassadors £10 per hour for campus work and £15 per hour for showing students around prospective houses.
