How-to…unblock your toilet!

Try as we might to be environmentally friendly, economical use of toilet paper is not always possible. Couple that with dated flushing systems and houses exceeding five students and blocked toilets become as regular an occurrence as missed Hermes parcels. For many students the plunger is a little used contraption, some claim to not know its purpose, others simply go without. Hence why HYBR has redrafted the fantastic Handyman Ray to give us his very easy trick at unblocking the toilet:

1. Grab the washing up liquid from the kitchen and squeeze 2-3 good squirts of soap down the toilet bowl. 
2. Wait 5 minutes. 
3. Boil the kettle then pour a litre or so of it down the toilet. 
4. Leave this for 20 minutes. 
5. Finally, flush the toilet! The toilet paper should have all disintegrated by now and it will easily pass through your water system leaving your toilet unblocked for another day. Yippee!
