London is the capital city of the United Kingdom. It is the U.K.'s largest metropolis and its economic, transportation, and cultural centre. London is also among the oldest of the world's great cities, with its history spanning nearly two millennia. It is incredibly diverse and welcoming.

There are over 300 languages spoken in the city and more than 400,000 university students from more than 200 different nations study here. London is the intellectual hub of Europe. It is physically a polycentric city, with many core districts and no clear hierarchy among them. London has at least two (and sometimes many more) of everything: cities, mayors, dioceses, cathedrals, chambers of commerce, police forces, opera houses, orchestras, and universities.All of this makes London an incredibly exciting city to study in. Some find it slightly overwhelming and overpriced; others thrive in the vibrancy and life the city has to offer.

Located in West London, home to Notting Hill Market, Notting Hill carnival, and of course location for the filming of ‘Notting Hill’, it’s a place full of culture and history.

Shoreditch

Shoreditch is in East London, which is renowned for vibrant street art, vintage shops, food markets and so much more. If a vibrant creative culture is your thing, then Shoreditch is the one for you!

Brixton

Located in the Southwest, Brixton is an up-and-coming area. Home to Brixton Market as well as many famous music venues, it’s a great option for those who want an animated cultural, arts, and music scene.

Clapham

Clapham in Southwest London is a large and popular area for students and young professionals. Centered around the vast green expanse Clapham Common it’s full of nice spots to hang out.
